Witnessing the Work of the Holy Spirit: Nazarite Program

Pastoral Staff 2026-06

At the end of 2025, the Holy Spirit led Pastor Yu and Nancy, together with the pastoral staff, to launch the “Nazarite Training Program,” calling brothers and sisters to dedicate one year to spiritual training and a life set apart for God.

To encourage participants to take this commitment seriously, the program included regular in-person prayer meetings, weekly fellowship gatherings, monthly training sessions, discipleship ministry for new believers, and six credits of Cedar Training Center (CTC) courses. Despite these demanding requirements, nearly 100 people attended the information session. To the staff’s surprise, close to 80 brothers and sisters ultimately enrolled, and the program officially began on February 1. Among them, 21 participants committed to the highest level of involvement as AAA Nazarites, while nearly 60 others joined the larger Nazarite group.

The first two months focused on “Vision and Mission,” helping participants lift their eyes beyond personal circumstances and see God’s eternal purpose centered on Christ and the Church. They were encouraged to recognize how their daily lives, ministry, and service are connected to God’s greater plan. The following two months centered on “Be Filled with the Holy Spirit,” helping participants experience the Holy Spirit more personally, grow in their relationship with Christ, and become more attentive to the Spirit’s leading. They also learned that the Holy Spirit’s work is not only for personal growth but for building up the Body of Christ and serving others within the church.

Now approaching its halfway point, the program has already produced many encouraging testimonies. Participants share that the center of their lives has shifted from self to Christ, they are learning to obey the Holy Spirit in everyday matters, and family members and friends have noticed genuine changes in their lives. Many have also discovered that although their schedules have become busier, their burdens have grown lighter.

We believe this is a good work that God Himself has begun, and we trust that He will faithfully bring it to completion.
