The new Bethel Hall construction drawings and building permit application are now in the City’s approval process. Our construction contractor has completed the third and final cost estimates, resulting in approximately 20% cost increase, which are attributable to added requirements from new building code and more refined details involved in the construction process. Since the beginning of the year our church project management(PM) team has been meeting with the architect and the construction contractor every Tuesday to ensure good communication and smooth progress in preparatory work.In addition, our PM team is evaluating options for construction insurance, and the design of security systems for the entire site including existing facilities.
